We were looking for quotes to install an Emporia Pro Level 2 EV charger in our garage. I noticed my neighbor had an EV charger already installed and I asked him who did the installation, and I'm so glad I did! Out of 5 quotes, Bakken Electric was by far, the easiest to work with, best communication skills, and best priced. Total professionals from minute one! They blew all of the other quotes away. They got on the phone to discuss the job, what I was looking for, answered my questions and concerns, and even brought up some features of the kit I bought that would cost more to install and helped me determine it was an unnecessary feature. While all of the other quotes either seemed put out by my request, inconvenience to put me on their schedule, or were charging outrageous prices to install the charger 10 feet from the sub panel, these guys said, "no problem." They even found a better location, farther away from the sub panel that would be more ideal for our car and still beat everyone else's price.
Mike came out early the next morning (we got lucky with a cancelation). Out of any contractor I've worked with the last 3 years, he was the best. Mike introduced himself, walked through the plan, answered my questions, and got right to work. Very pleasant to speak to, knowledgeable, and personable. After the installation, they finished up with the inspection, helped me setup the app for the charger, and cleaned up after himself.
This is the team you want! Great communication, professional, patient, and knowledgeable with a price that couldn't be beat.

THE BEST customer experience I've likely ever had with any company in any industry. I reached out to Bakken for one of three quotes to run a new line to the garage for a level 2 EV charging station. From the moment I began speaking with Jim, he was informative, consultative, and responsive to my timing needs. I spoke with him on a Friday and he gave me a break down of the work and cost. When I had questions about another option, he came out on a Sunday to personally inspect the property and make a recommendation. When I moved forward with Bakken to get it done, the project was complete by Thursday of the following week. Since then, he's followed up with me around the power company rebates programs, texted me with additional information, and followed up with Excel to make sure their final portion of the work is on track. Oh yeah, they were also the most affordable of the three quotes I received.
You just don't get this level of customer service AND quality at most companies anymore. I want to do more electrical work on my house just to give them my business. Five stars all the way!

100/10 Bryan is an absolute LIFE SAVER. I called on a Saturday with what I thought was an emergency (half the lights in a restaurant went out). Bryan talked me through it and was able to solve the problem over the phone even though they were technically closed. Saved my a$$ & folks from having to go to the restroom in the dark all evening.

If helpfulness, integrity and determination are important to you when choosing an electrician, I could not recommend Bakken Electric any higher. When I desperately needed help with a solar issue and was getting the run-around from my original installer, Jim at Bakken was unbelievably helpful. From the moment I called, the level of support and assistance I received was incredible. It felt like he immediately made my problem into our problem and set out to fix it. Jim spent a lot of time researching possible causes and solutions for my issue. He made several calls on my behalf and ultimately resolved my issue remotely. A+. Will definitely be using this company going forward.

I had Bakken Electric install an EV charger in my garage. They figured out how to get a new 40 amp circuit in my already full breaker box and did a very clean and neat installation of my new charger. EV chargers are one of their specialties.
